This time last year I was HEAVILY pregnant and lamenting the fact that there were no 'Happy Parasitic Host Day' cards... Hallmark never did contact me to buy that idea.
This year I've been sending hints to Map Guy that if he gets me a small home appliance or slippers I will be very stabby. A $5 box of choccies will do me just fine, thankyouverymuch. Actually, just a sleep in would be awesome - that's free and will be appreciated more than any bought gift.
So what do I want for my first ever Mothers' Day? A sleep in and then a few hours to myself to read all your fab FlogYoBlog Friday posts! I'm so easily pleased.

Happy Fluffy Slippers day!!
ReplyDeleteI actually would have been happy with the fluffy slippers or small home appliance for my first Mothers Day. It would have been better than the Joni Mitchell CD I did receive. I took it back. I then bought myself some jewellery. Happy FYBF :-)
ReplyDeleteOMG I am so vague that it took me three goes to link up. For Mother's Day I'd probably like to grow a brain more than anything!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link up!! Happy fluffy slippers day x

I'd be all over the appliances if it was one of those fancy coffee machines or those mixmaster thingey's.
ReplyDeleteThank you gorgeous..for hosting again...wish you a great Mother's Day that you deserve...and may your wishes come true....I have hinted for a new Badminton Racquet.......which I think a little birdie has told me that I might be getting :)
ReplyDeleteAgree, a sleep in - or even a full night sleep - would be a free gift I'd grab with both hand too! Happy fluffy slipper day to you as well xx
ReplyDeleteThe older my kid gets, the more expectations I have for Mother's Day. This year, I want to sleep in. I want to be served. I want a picnic prepared not by me. I want to go to the movies alone. I want to have it all.
ReplyDeleteI bought my own Mother's Day gift this year.
ReplyDeleteHey! Happy Mother's Day, and hope you got that sleep in ... will be back to check out the fab reads above!!
