Heeeyyyyy good lookin'
Yep, it's the time of year that parrots go on a bit of a bender by eating stacks of fermented fruit. If you're so inclined you can read more about it here.

What that article doesn't tell you though is that every year all the parrots put "Soooo hungover. But maaaan it was worth it! Good times!" as their Facebook status the next day.

So get squawking and get Flogging!

  1. Partying like Britney. I like it. Should probably fish the fermenting fruit out of the back of my fridge and give it a go.  *ahem*.  Guess what I was doing before 7am?  Not only waiting on FYBF, but...wait for it....CLEANING.  WTF?!  Full permission to slap me around next time we do cawfee and macaroons *double ahem*

  4. Reminds me of my ex-work colleagues during the silly season...oh, and (the upcoming) Melbourne Cup.  They say that's the day that the nation stops.  I beg to differ.  I think it's the following day when everyone is nursing a sore head...and calls in "sick".

  7. And here, being the American that I am, I was expecting an angry parrot.

The alternative is so much better. I just forgot that in Australia pissed meant drunk, and that I was reading a blog by an Australian. Then I saw the picture. I was like OH, DUH!

    Regional dialects. Gotta love 'em.
