DPCon2012

There are a few letters and numbers that can excite me greatly.

For one, the TV show Letters and Numbers (I want to have a giant love in with Richard, David, Lily and a giant dictionary).

But the other letters and numbers that make squeee are DPCon2012. Ohhhh yeah, baby, it's time to get excited because the Digital Parents Conference has just launched and I'll be there with bells on (bell company sponsor, anyone?).

Digital Parents

This year, because over commitment is my forte, I'm actually part of the organizing team and it's my job to fill the expo hall with exhibitors. Ya-huh we get an expo hall!! How cool is that?! There is also a massive two-stream program and of course a Gala Dinner. I'm practically hyperventilating with excitement!

It's a great opportunity and I get to work along side the most amazing, talented women and we are all going to work our butts off to bring you a fantastic conference.

The website went live this morning so you can check it out now and even buy your early bird tickets. In an effort to exude professionalism my full name is on there. The lasts strands of anonymity have frayed and the veil is lifted... I'm not entirely sure, but I think I feel liberated. Or shit scared, I can't quite tell.

So, will you be joining me in March?

Check out the posts of the rest of the faaabulous team (linked as they go live):
Tina, Kirrily, Grace, Maria and Brenda

  1. I'd love to be at DPCon2012 (Is that anything like DefCon12?). I'm thinking that cost will be a problem for me though. :-( I certainly can't buy my ticket yet. Hopefully there will still be some left if I am able to work tickets, travel & accommodation into my budget. I'm already jealous of all the fun that everyone will have there. Watching the twitterstream from home just won't be the same.

Yay that you're on the organising team, though. How fantastic. I know you will do an awesome job. :-)

  3. Of course I'll be there - your #1 minion has to hold your purse and toblerone cocktail while you're being important, no?  At the very least, a T shirt that says "I'm with Glowless" or "I'm Glowless' Bitch".  You know, something classy like that.  Bought my ticket this morning - it's what got me out of bed after I realised it was school holidays and there's no escaping the feral threesome for the next 2 weeks.

  17. So exciting! Truly hope to come but lots of logistics to work out as my husband will be buried in work again by then :( We just need to hope Melbourne Storm are playing at home that weekend and I might be in luck!  Hope to look at Sponsorship for the first time as well as dont think the budget will stretch to cover it all. But agree, its VERY exciting!  Great work DP team x

  20. Yay you are going! You are going to rock it out. Have a great time and keep Georgia on the straight and narrow will you!? I am sure you will fill the expo halls with thousands of exhibitors! I have decided not to go. I am chickening out at the last minute. I just feel a bit too guilty about leaving everyone. I barely managed to leave everyone last time. And then I couldn't get back to Perth. I know I am incredibly lame. At least I have you to give me all the goss! xxxxxxxx

  28. I think so too! Each time I do one of these things it slides a little further away from daunting towards exciting :)
